January 30th 2018

CineMec Ede

The idea

The JVM (Java, Scala and all other JVM languages) conference where you create the program!
JVMCON will take place January 30th 2018 in Cinemec, Ede, The Netherlands. We hope to see a wide range of subjects, from language features to flying drones, project reports or anything else that involves a JVM. We will have a Call For Papers (CFP) and we welcome everybody to participate and submit a session. You can even submit a proposal for the keynote! What's unique about this conference is the fact that the registered attendees are allowed to vote on the papers. We believe in equal opportunities. Speaker information will not be visible for the attendees when voting.

The sessions with the highest ratings are included in the final program. The attendees are the program committee and they determine the JVMCON program.

Next to the CFP process we have one track where we arranged some top-rated speakers like Venkat Subramaniam, Hadi Hariri, Krzysztof Kudrynski and Konrad Malawski as a gift to the community. They all received very high grades for their sessions and lots of them even had the best rated talk at conferences like ScalaDays, JavaOne and Devoxx.

We want this conference to be a community effort. So we appreciate your remarks and improvements.
